3. A related or continuous series.The last piece I did was a performance of painting on black facepaint in the studio. I tried to take multiple shots along the way to document the actual application of the paint. Im interested in this idea of the sequence and the steps along the way to the final product. Researching sequence art was really frustrating. I like the image above but I found it on deviantart. Most of what was coming up was sports or really cliche things that I had no interest in.
The only actual artist that comes to mind is Muybridge. Im not exactly sure where I am going with this but I think it is really interesting to format the images this way. I meet with Jeff tomorrow so Im going to show him what I have.
